The official description never writes the word Wendell. Animatronic and “break the shell” claims have no confirmed clip on this site.

What I checked
I went looking for a frame that shows the words THE WENDELL and $7,499 together. I do not have that frame in our files. What I do have is other writers quoting an October 16 PLAY AS list, plus comments about tearing a shell off. I am not going to describe a shell break I have not watched from start to finish. If you unlock it, the useful notes are the on-screen name, the price, and what the kill prompt actually says.
What is on the record
Official v1.45 text names The Locust and The Hollow and then says “and etc.” It claims four entities. It does not claim the fourth is Wendell. Version 1.6’s live description still does not name Wendell.
The $7,499 figure is in-game cash, the same currency as the Rictus and Locust cards, not Robux. Treat it as an unverified secondary price report, not a shop price we independently observed. Shop prices can change.
The animatronic rumor
Some pages connect the name to a 1988 physical animatronic called Wendell the Unicycle Rider. I found no sentence from Vantage Gameworks that links that machine to this experience. Searching “wendell animatronic” will mix the two. Inside the game, there is no published ability list.
How to check it yourself
Open SHOP, then PLAY AS. If the card is there, write down the exact price and the flavor text. Do not trust a thumbnail that crops the price. A shell animation needs a clip that shows the start of the action and the result, not a comment saying it happened.
