Named in the official description

Surviving The Locust

In Vantage Gameworks’ Roblox experience, The Locust is an original character by Doctor Nowhere. The Steal Or Die description says the developer made this model out of respect for that work. The official card reads “IT HEARD YOU ON THE STAIRS”. The shop price in October footage is $6,499 cash. There is no published hearing radius.

What I checked

The stair line is what I keep coming back to. I read it on the official thumbnail, not in a comment. Combined with the description — it hears footsteps and it hears your voice — sprinting a stairwell while talking is the loudest thing you can do. I also had to throw out notes from Aisles of the Locust, a different Roblox game set in a supermarket. Those clips are not this entity.

What it uses to find you

Official text: footsteps and voice. Tutorial transcriptions add flashlight light. Crouching is the taught way to quiet footsteps. None of those sources give a meter range, a speed, or a damage number. If a page says “hears you from 20 meters”, it invented the 20.

The shop card in the 15 October upload prices the unlock at $6,499 in-game cash, one time. Same rule as the other cards: entity-player rounds only.

A quieter route

Crouch when you are not sure the aisle is empty. Stop talking if voice chat is on. Click the flashlight only when you need the next shelf, then click it off. Take stairs slowly. A locker you were seen entering is a delay, not a safe room. Vents need a screwdriver. A barricade kit is $200 and “keeps a door shut for a while”.

Questions

Is this the Locust from Aisles of the Locust?

No. That is a different co-op horror experience. This page is only the Steal Or Die entity.

Who owns the character?

The description credits Doctor Nowhere as the original creator and says the in-game model was made by the Steal Or Die developer.

Does it hunt in a pack?

Nothing official says that. Treat pack, ceiling-crawl, and “many eyes” lines as someone else’s creature.
