Kit confirmed. Duration not measured.
How to barricade a door
The official description names barricaded doors next to closets and vents. The shop’s Barricade Kit costs $200 in-game cash and says to place it on a door to keep it shut for a while. It lasts the current round and disappears if dropped. How many seconds “a while” is has not been measured.

What I checked
I can quote the kit. I cannot time it. The shop frame around 36:55 in the 15 October upload shows the name, the $200, and that one sentence. I have also seen entities filmed ripping doors open, so I treat the kit as a head start. I will not write “hold E for three seconds”. Nobody has published that bind as a fact.
What to do with the kit
Buy it in the shop if you have the cash. Place it on a door you are about to put between you and the entity. When you hear the door being forced, leave. Do not stand and listen to the rest of the animation. A second route matters more than a second kit you have not tested.
Unknowns, on purpose
Unknown: which doors accept a kit, how long the place animation takes, how long the door holds, whether the entity’s break time changes by monster, and whether you can barricade from the outside. If a guide fills those blanks without a clip, skip the blanks.

Questions
Is barricading real or a rumor?
The description lists barricaded doors, and the shop sells the kit. A few older guides called it unconfirmed because they had not read that sentence.
Does it stop The Rictus?
It delays a door. It is not a kill. Stilts still exist on the other side.
Is $200 Robux?
No. $200 is in-game cash on the shop card.
